NOT IN MY MOOD!

“I don’t have any dress to wear; I don’t want to wear make-up, I hate make-ups, I’m not in mood to join this event. hmp! And lastly the person that I’m expecting will not attend this ball, why should I go?!? My GOD!” This is I’m telling to them when the Juniors – Seniors Prom is approaching.

Juniors- Seniors Prom is the biggest event in high school life, this is where your social abilities will improve and most especially this is where your personalities will be built. It’s true that JS Prom is the most exciting, enjoyable and happiest night of being a high school student.

When the day came, little girls became the most stunning ladies of the night; little boys became the most attractive man of the night. We can see everywhere the most prestigious gown that a lady could wear; they were beautiful in their own gowns with the high heeled shoes and make – ups.

Honestly speaking I am planning not attend this event, I don’t have the mood to dance with somebody and the guy that I want to be with is not there. My friends were planning not to attend this ball but when the day came I’ve been pushed by my wicked MOTHER..wahahaha.. to attend this event, at first I want to cry because I hate it when a person will push me to something that I don’t want, I HATE THAT SOO MUCH! And I don’t have any dress to wear, I am very choosy when it come to my dresses, the dress that I want is like a like a “RAKISTA style” but my “wicked” mom refused to my decision so she searched to a dress that I will wear, I’ve very angry all the time because of that.

This is it! It’s the Prom night, it’s obvious to my actions that I’m not in the mood to go to the prom because it’s already 4:00 pm and I’m not yet ready to go, I’m still surfing net, how’s that?hehehe.. When my cousin and I went to the Prom hall, I didn’t wore my shoes (hahaha) because I’m not comfortable to wear high heeled shoes, I’m just true to myself so I just carried my shoes and when someone will invite me to the dance floor, I’m not wearing any shoes meaning I’m barefooted and my partner/friends were laughing at me, so what?!?haha. I didn’t enjoy my JS prom this year unlike last year, again the guy that I want to be with is not there but last year he’s there and it’s my first time to attend an event like that. I counted how many who danced with me and it’s very few compared to last year.

After our Juniors – Seniors Prom we decided to visit the grandfather of Jason because that night was his last night and the next day of it was his funeral. We went there with our gowns, imagine everybody was looking at us and it’s like we’re melting when they were looking at us.

It’s really wonderful that JS Prom is over again and Seniors ball will be the NEXT. The dance, music and the people was very nice and this made the night very colorful. Every student will keep all the memories that Juniors – Seniors Promenade made.

it came over me in a RUSH

RUSH adj. – needing to be dealt with or done very quickly.
n. – the state of being busy and pressed for time

RUSH is characterized by enormous bustle and activity.

The SIMPLEST and SHORTEST word that I can describe this grading period is “RUSH”. Why?!? Hmmm.. First, our periodical test will be on February 25 and 26 considering that 3rd grading was just a few weeks later, imagining more than 10 days of RUSHING of lessons. Second, a lot of school activities and lastly, tons of projects that our teachers gave to us and that annoyed me a lot because the date of submission is just a few days before they gave it to us. Hayyyy!!! Our schedule is very HECTIC and sometimes I don’t know what to do, I don’t know what subject I will make first.

I don’t have any background about WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER but because of curiosity, I explored it and luckily I just know what to do..hehe

The only problem that I encounter was that the TIME and where will I make my movie..

Addressing these problems..Time management is best solution and there’s the computer room (always open?!?)

Moving on..I expect more challenging lesson than this..haha (pangas!)

"I WILL SURVIVE" (cancer survivor..haha)

Graduation is fast approaching; you must prepare your calendars and start counting down.. I wish that HIGH SCHOOL life will not end, it’s hard to leave high school, here we learn many things, and we meet astonishing teachers, fascinating subjects and precious friends. Being a high school student, it is not complete without the computer subject; computer is part of my life and started to learn it since my elementary days until high school. Computer subject is very interesting particularly the topic we had discussed this grading period which is about “WEB DESIGNING”.

Web designing is like chess, one wrong move and the game is over just like in web designing wrong position of html tag and all the things that you’ve done will not work.

Well I’ll start my paragraph with a long…hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!(agpapanunot nak lang mam..haha) Actually I have tons of things that I’ve learned this grading. First is web designing.. Secondly, TIME management.. and last of all three heads functioning is better than one..hahaha.. Majority of the students thought that web designing is very complicated but they were wrong, web designing is easy, I admit when I first encounter this I plant it on my mind that I will never learn to make a web page because this will smash my head (exagge!), in fact if you know the tag to put and where will you put it that will make your work easy.

Struggles? Hmmm.. I think this grading; I encountered a lot of problems, why? Simply because I don’t know some of the tags.. damn I’m so stupid! And some of the tags, I don’t know their functions either, hmp! and lastly I thought I will just be the only one to make our web page considering that this is a group project (awan da gamin amin idi) and the worst thing is that day is the last day of making the web page..damn! what a life?!?

Enough of the problems and lets go to the solutions.. Well, a big THANK YOU to my very supportive, understanding, kind and remarkable classmates because they helped me and explained the tags that I don’t know. Back to the group project thing I said a while ago, we were very lucky because the presentation is postponed and we have enough time to make our web design and fortunately my groupmates is there already to help, THANK GOD!

Moving on, I will expect more problems on the next grading..hahaha (di na nadala..haha)

WALANG SAWANG BLOG...

The periodical test is coming nearer.. [Hay naku..nakakalokang pagrereview na naman to] A lot of new information was added in our coconut shells again, and it is all about HTML tags. At first we thought that making an html is very hard, it is very confusing, that’s a fact, but if you know the concept you can easily make an html. They’ve lecture us how to change the font size, font face, font color and even putting a background color and background image on the web that you are making. I know that this information that I’ve learned this grading will be a big help for me in the future.

Honestly speaking my dear blog I didn’t encounter any problems regarding our lessons simply because it is very very very easy, I just encoded what they wrote on the white board and just put an HTML tags and that’s it my hands on activity is finished.

As I said a while ago my dear blog, I didn’t encounter any problem so where will I address it?!? Duh?!?hehe.. My dear blog I just studied our activities and thanks GOD I am not confused on the html’s that I’m inserting..harhar.. And the good thing is I just did my best in making my blog.

Moving on, I will study harder and listen to our discussion, I will also review my notes (tomorrow is our PERIODICAL TEST in TLE) Oh! My gulay..

prodigious learnings..

First grading is over.. new chapter.. new learning.. new information.. new activities will be given to us again.. I remember those days that our teacher is introducing to us about the INTERNET but now she is now starting to give us advance learning about internet and some ideas that can help us develop our awareness about computer/internet..

Last grading period we just studied some basic topics about internet like the history and started posting in our blogs, we also learned how to upload photos, etc… With respect to our subject which is COMPUTER EDUCATION blogging is the best part of our discussion but now here comes the TAGS. We were given some activities, typing some tags in the notepad and not in the Microsoft word then after that we will save it and view it in the internet.

Problems.. problems.. problems.. let me think ‘bout the problems I have met this past few days….hmmmmm … The first time our teacher introduced about this TAG I was confused, damn I hate myself of not being understand it easily. And the last problem I encountered is that I don’t know how to edit my activities [gosh! nakakahiya ka marya] I don’t know what tag will I put before my name and section.

Thanks to the Good Samaritan she explained to me about the things that I can’t understand and she even told me what tag it is and where will I put my name.. THANKS TO YOU MY FRIEND..

Moving on I will listen to ma’am vera cruz when she will discuss a new topic. Honestly speaking everybody sometimes I’m not listening to the discussion because sometimes I’m out of my mind or should I say my mind is not set sometimes and I’m thinking some sort of things. [Marya you must put your attention to the one who is discussing in front..ohhey?!?]

In the past few weeks, many things happened. New learnings were given to us by our teacher, some discussions about blogging. TLE conducted a food festival, we joined this said festival, my groupmates and I decided to make a "lumpianada" as our product. This festival last in two days, it's very tiring but we enjoyed it a lot, it's not the price that we want, although everybody wants to win, but in our group we just enjoyed it, in cooking the "lumpianada" and selling it. In what had happened I learned a lot like just enjoy on what you are doing and not look at the price that is given. Furthermore, the result of the food festival is great, we the fourth year students became the winner and our sections MAXWELL is the best seller among the fourth year sections. We are all happy on the result, the tiring days turned into happiness

We cannot escape problems in our lives, but this problems it will guide us in the right path. Some problems happened to me this past few weeks... in the food festival, we are all pressured because the competition is quite tight, some of our groupmates are arguing because they cannot decide on what we will do, we also taught that we cannot finish cooking the "lumpianada" because the time is too short.

I addressed these problems by just enjoying it, eventhough we are all pressured we are still laughing and if there is an arguement someone will sis the fire or stop that arguement.

Moving on I will continue on what I am doing..harhar.. I will try my best tlo participate in our class and if there will be projects that given to us by our teacher, I will finish it immediately and I will not waste my time...weeeeeeeeeehhhhhh!!!!!

1....) What are the new learnings/ discoveries that have learned?
There are many things that I have learned in this subject. New things were discussed to us by our teacher. I learned about the history of the Internet where it is very important to us to know where Internet started. The internet services and tools and how they function, some data types and protocols. How to use search engines and the most important is the search terms that you will use in searching which is our current topic. In this subject I learned also some expressions like "SOSYALAN."

2...) What are the problems/ challenges that I have encounter?
........................I have encounter few problems in the search terms. Idon't know where to use these terms, and when we had our activity I just typed whatever term it is.

3...) How did I addressed these challenges?
........................ I addressed these challenges by the help of my classmates, sometimes I asked them how to use the terms properly and fortunately I understand and I know how to use it properly and correctly without asking their help anymore.
